About the Role

 

We are looking to appoint an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Nurse to join our experienced Team.  The role is based within the Tradeston area of Glasgow, working within the local community.

 

Working with us you will be starting a new chapter in your Nursing Career.  We have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming, whilst operating in a busy environment.

 

Your ability to be part of our close–knit team providing individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on a 1:1 basis or alongside other team members.

Glasgow Alcohol & Drug Crisis Service  

 

At Turning Point Scotland our Glasgow Alcohol and Drug Crisis Service offers integrated health and social care, which provides low threshold, direct access services for people experiencing a crisis due to alcohol or other drug use including people who may be experiencing homelessness. Interventions include a 24-hour crisis residential unit, 24-hour Injecting Equipment Provision (needle exchange), wound care, harm reduction advice, signposting and naloxone training and provision. 

As a Nurse, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
