Rosie’s Cafe
Rosie’s Social Enterprises is part of the charity organisation Turning Point Scotland. Rosie’s Café has recently re-opened at our new premises within the Tillydrone Community Campus.
As part of the role, you will be required to cook quality food and homemade soups on a daily basis, preparing breakfast and lunch items in accordance to the menu and daily specials. Alongside producing scones, cakes and sweet treats, you will teach our service users the skills required to cook nutritious and well-balanced menu items to a high standard.
You will manage the day to day running of the kitchen, taking control of food ordering, health and safety regulations and food standards legislation, whilst keeping a close eye on finances and budgeting.
You will teach and support our service users to return to mainstream employment after a period of ill health, boosting confidence and self-esteem while learning new on-the- job skills, and encouraging them to achieve their own personal goals.
